"Maybe means NO"
Wouldn't it be nice to get a straight answer from people? Yes or No should be an easy thing to decide. Like " Do you have kids?" The answer to that usually is quite simple. So why is it that in the dating scene people use "maybe" instead of coming right out and saying how they feel ...like " Do you want to date me ?" " Will you attend this important business event to show your support of me?"
~ In my opinion it would be refreshing if sometimes painful if the person would come right out and tell me " NO i'm not showing up because it would confuse you into thinking i want a relationship with you, and it's obvious i don't . " ...yeah that would hurt BUT i'd know where i'd stand at least INSTEAD i stood around all day HOPING to see a guy i once liked and am NOT over ...to magically show up to a sale i had going on today. Every man i saw with a goatee or backwards baseball hat i'd hope and pray that he was "HIM" ...for "He" said he "MAYBE" was attending .

Examples
" Will you wash the dirty dishes tomorrow?....Maybe
" Will you ever be able to afford a mustang?....Maybe
"Will you ever marry a celebrity?.....Maybe
So my question to myself is will you ever get your hopes up again hoping "he'll" pop out of the blue?......MAYBE
